Dr. Laney was born right here in Charlotte, NC and then spent her years growing
up in Chapel Hill. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise
Physiology from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!). Dr. Laney spent her free
time as a youth mentor and assisted with research focusing on children with a wide
range of disabilities. Following her undergraduate education, she worked at the
UNC Children’s Hospital, where she became even more passionate about pediatric
care and the birth process.
Dr. Laney attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida to complete her
Doctor of Chiropractic degree graduating cum laude. While at Palmer, she served
as student council president for 2 years, allowing her to be the voice for students
and attend events to be the voice for chiropractic care. Fun fact, Dr. Laney picked
up a new hobby in Florida and is now an avid weightlifter and CrossFit athlete,
competing in local competitions.
Dr. Laney is passionate about working closely with the entire family. She is
devoted to supporting and empowering women through every stage of pregnancy
and beyond, including fertility and conception. Additionally, she is a member of
the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) where she received her
Webster Certification. Dr. Laney plans to continue her education and training,
working towards her Certificate in Pediatrics from the Academy Council of
Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP).

Dr. Alison was born in California and lived there until her teenage years when she moved to Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Science at Monmouth University in New Jersey. Dr. Alison was scouted and received a track scholarship from Monmouth where she was a four-year D1 athlete. It was then when she decided that she wanted to take care of athletes since she received much support from her team chiropractor allowing her to be so successful in her sport. She completed her masters in sports chiropractic simultaneously with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University and graduated cum laude in 2017. While at Life she worked with national championship athletes as one of the team chiropractors for the athletics program. She works closely with our pregnant mothers and pediatric population and is Webster Certified and is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). Dr. Alison holds the distinguished certificate (CACCP) from the ICPA that shows the completion of 200+ hours of prenatal/pediatric coursework. She also is a BirthFit Professional which aids women to find confidence in the prenatal and post-partum time of their life. Dr. Alison was raised with 3 older brothers and loves to spend time with family as much as possible. Her passion for chiropractic grew stronger due to this close tie to her family as she wanted to provide the best care for them as their families grew. This motivated her to gain experience in adjusting babies and pregnant mothers. She learned firsthand in her own pregnancy the challenges that new mothers face and has become an advocate to help others navigate through those experiences. She loves spending time with her two boys and family when she’s not serving patients.
